Served as a member of Governor Bill Richardson’s team, in executive positions within the Museums and Monuments of New Mexico and National Hispanic Cultural Center. Public Member, Judicial Nominees Evaluation Commission, California State Bar 2017.

Author of best-selling, award-winning book of Latino virtues, It’s All in the Frijoles; Good Food, Good Health & Buena Comida, Buena Salud, a labor of love to help prevent heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.

However, this experience of blindness has allowed me to shift into a new way of thinking, living and being, in which I feel so much joy, love and purpose.”
