National Latina Business Women Association - Inland Empire Board of Directors Recruitment Overview
Who We Are
The National Latina Business Women Association Inland Empire a.k.a (NLBWA-IE) is a 501(c)6 corporation registered in the State of California to promote, develop and support the rapid growth of Latinas in business and professions. The NLBWA-IE’s duty is to deliver programs and services enabling greater success for this critical, underrepresented market. Our Board of Directors is composed of Latina entrepreneurs and corporate professionals from diverse business and career fields.
The NLWBA was formed in July 2003 to champion effective programs and services that address the unique context Latinas face in business and professions. This context includes historical, cultural and linguistic factors that can enrich business/professional careers. Despite many other existing groups supporting women and/or Hispanics in business and professions, no organization provides a voice for the special needs of this fastest growing segment of business creation. The initial chapter was formed in Los Angeles; other chapters were strategically formed including the NLBWA-Inland Empire in 2014 indicating the importance of this special approach to supporting and developing the entrepreneurial and professional careers of Latinas. The NLWBA is dedicated to strengthening the wealth capacity of its members and the economic development of its communities. It focuses on innovative and effective changes in business culture, builds strategic alliance, coalitions and affiliations, and transforms public policy and influences opinion makers.
